In addition, the focus is on English-language teaching, digital forms of learning and forward-looking research topics.
In the medium term, the UTN campus will offer space for up to 6,000 students on about 37 hectares and combine learning, teaching and living in one place. The project is currently one of the most important higher education policy projects for the Free State of Bavaria.
In the northern area of the future UTN campus between Münchener, Brunecker and Dr.-Luise-Herzberg-Strasse, six new buildings are to be built in four partial construction measures. These buildings represent the founding buildings as well as the logistics center of the university in the first stage of development, which is currently under construction.
The entire media equipment is the responsibility of the Technical University of Nuremberg. In contrast to the award process of the Erlangen-Nuremberg State Building Authority, the planning of the media technology will be awarded across the four core departments: Human and Social Sciences (HSS), Mechatronic Engineering (ME), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Advanced Computing Technologies, Quantum Engineering (QE) and the Logistics Centre, in order to ensure that the equipment elements are subject to the same basic principle and are essential for the future further development of the campus site. form a basis.
The planning of the media technology for the buildings of the aforementioned core area departments as well as the logistics centre and the central services is the subject of this award.
