Cities and municipalities are facing a major challenge in terms of energy transition. This is already the case, and towards 2030 and 2050 the climate and sustainability targets, whether imposed from above or not, will only become stricter. In order to support local authorities in their energy transition towards CO² neutrality, s-Lim is now putting a demand on the market as a central purchasing body. This question should soon provide an answer to challenges related to the sustainability of buildings, electrification of energy demand, etc.
By dealing with local energy consumption and production in a smart and data-driven way, we want to work together on climate-neutral profits, in other words: achieving the sustainability goals in an economically optimized way.
The assignment concerns the smart supply and purchase of local Belgian electricity, and the supply of gas, combined with a user-friendly and functional customer portal that provides transparent insight into the various energy flows at each location.
The question is therefore about 100% locally green produced electricity, which is cast in a long-term formula, at the most correct possible price, with predictability and an eye for risk reduction for the customer. In view of the energy transition, it is also necessary to take into account our own local production, injection and energy sharing. The provider must facilitate energy sharing and maximize its return, possibly across the borders of the cities and municipalities.
The accompanying customer portal should provide insight into renewable energy production and possible offtake per site and per building, where possible in real-time. The portal allows for smart control (fast control based on dynamics between energy production, storage and (flexible) consumption) and analyses and reporting at different levels (municipality/site/building).
An integration with energy markets (spot market, futures market and flexibility market) in order to make the decision-making process on energy management partly dependent on current prices on the energy markets is requested.

SMART SUPPLY OF ELECTRICITY/GAS IN COMBINATION WITH AN ENERGY DATA PLATFORM/SUPPORT IN ENERGY TRANSITION .

The assignment consists of the following elements:
● The tenderer offers support in T&M to assist the client in issues related to the energy transition;
● Analyzing production and consumption based on historical data to determine per company
gain insight into the energy flows;
● Providing an energy balance/accounting for all companies/locations;
● Providing a forecast of energy consumption to support budgeting;
● Providing simulations of investments in renewable energy (solar panels, wind turbines, batteries, etc.);
● Providing a tool to ensure the follow-up of investments in renewable energy; the real-time measurement of energy data that provides real-time insight into the production of renewable energy

● Providing a 'control layer' (via physical controllers) that allows control
