For the Clinic for Dermatology and Allergology Thalkirchner Strasse of the Munich Clinic, a confocal laser scanning microscope (KLSM) of the latest generation is to be commissioned for the analysis of diagnostic biopsies and the assessment of tumor margins during operations and pathological examinations. The confocal laser scanning microscope must be able to be used for real-time evaluation of biopsies. The hardware and software offered must have an interface for connection to the existing HIS system (SAP/ISHmed). The pathologist should be able to carry out the histological examination in real time via remote access, regardless of his location. It must be possible to store, search, display, plan and transmit captured images to the PACS system. In the future, the confocal laser scanning microscope should be able to be integrated into a telemedical network system (MüK-internal and MüK-external).
