This contract includes the purchase, delivery, installation and commissioning and maintenance of a high-end U(H)PLC – tandem quadrupole mass spectrometer for the laboratory medicine department, chromatography and spectrometry unit of AZ Sint-Jan Brugge av.

The assignment includes, among other things:

- The purchase, delivery and commissioning of high-end U(H)PLC - tandem quadrupole mass spectrometer;
- with a view to the possible expansion of the liquid chromatography platform within AZ Sint-Jan and the limited benchtop space, a system is envisaged of which the MS/MS part has a maximum width and depth of 1m;
- the possibility of providing a second configuration in the future with at least the same performance, provided that the tests, the operation of the first device and analyses give a favorable result and the 1st device is therefore evaluated as positive;
- user training: system, software, LC, MS, method development, interpretation spectra etc.;
- the start-up of applications for existing analyses. The required reagents for these applications are not included in the order;
- training of staff for the launch of applications for pre-existing analyses;
- maintenance contract for the life of the appliance;
- other consumables.
