New procurement of science teaching and learning materials.
The product-specific procurement of teaching and learning materials from Phywe is justified as follows: 1. System equipment as complete equipment 2. Compatibility with the existing stock 3. Working with the existing old stock 4. Disadvantages of working with a third-party system 5. Digital instruments via Bluetooth connection 6. App and German literature 7. Digital literature CurricuLAB 8. Safety data sheets and RiSU conformity 9. Service at Phywe 10. Unique selling points at Phywe a) Electrical system with puzzle gearing. b) Direct analogy between demonstration and student experiments. c) Collection management system with storage location assignment, QR codes on the teaching materials and QR codes on the cabinets. d) EASY system with order rails for shelves. e) No other provider combines smart data acquisition technology (direct connection to tablets via Bluetooth) with interactive literature in German (CurricuLAB). f) Digital sets for linear movement (pairing via Bluetooth) are unique on the German teaching material market. g) X-ray physics in schools is only feasible at Phywe and LD Didactic. At Phywe, there is a significantly larger experimental chamber, which makes the applicability of the chamber more universal (potential for radiographic experiments is increased). h) The total boxes at Phywe are set up "by year". i) Large measuring devices such as the ADM 3 have digital displays (analogue for LD Didactic), which allows coupling with the iPads. j) The compact spectrometer is a specially designed compact measuring device for science education. It is easy to use and, with the associated software, offers a wide range of options for visualizing, measuring, comparing and evaluating. The recording of a spectrum is done with the help of a CCD array, so that the full spectrum is captured in one fell swoop, which makes it possible to reliably capture even rapid changes in a spectrum. k) No other manufacturer has safety checklists tailored to the system. Above all, the aspects in points 1-5 weigh heavily and cannot be mapped for the teaching profession with any other system than the Phywe system. It is to be feared that there will be a loss of quality in science teaching (upper secondary level, but also lower secondary level) at the school if only similar materials are procured instead of identical, but only similar (where theoretically possible). There is a risk of considerable additional work for teachers and students, as they have to find their way around 2 completely different systems. However, it is also possible to fear high additional costs due to reorders and new orders, as a large number of experiments would no longer be compatible in themselves.
