Research and development contract for a study of technical accessibility and production of prototypes of a Pockels cell with optically transparent electrodes in the thin-film process as well as necessary preliminary investigations
LOT-0000
Research and development contract Pockels cell.
This involves the award of a research and development contract for a study of technical accessibility as well as the production of prototypes of a Pockels cell with optically transparent electrodes in the thin-film process, as well as the necessary preliminary investigations.
The substrate material is deuterated potassium dihydrogen phosphate (DKDP) with anti-reflection layers on both sides, into which indium tin oxide (ITO) is introduced as an electrically conductive material. By optimizing the layer design, the residual absorption of the ITO layers as well as the resulting electric field strength are to be minimized. At the same time, the aim is to maximize the laser damage threshold for the use of Pockels cells in high-energy laser systems.
Further details can be found in the project description (Appendix 1 and Annex 1).
The research and development contract (see Appendix 0 - Research and Entwicklungsvertrag_EUOV2305) shall be deemed to have been concluded upon the award of the contract and shall subsequently be sent to the contractor (Contractor) for signature.
