In the context of works on the public domain, the city of Antwerp is regularly required to remove surplus quantities of soil. Reusing these surplus lands is usually not possible. In order to be able to remove such land quickly and efficiently in accordance with the applicable earthmoving regulations, the City of Antwerp wishes to make use of a framework agreement. The contractor must accept, analyse and take over the land on the basis of its environmental quality. The services to be delivered include: • sieving of land supplied • acquisition of soil that needs to be biologically/physico-chemically/thermally cleaned • acquisition of land that meets standards for free reuse • acquisition of land that meets the standards for architectural land use • acquisition of soil containing PFAS • acquisition of soil containing asbestos • acquisition of soil contaminated with zinc ash • acquisition of tar asphalt
