The JRC-Karlsruhe plans to purchase a modular Raman spectrometer dedicated to the study of highly radioactive samples that are handled inside a hot-cell.
The system shall be able to measure spent nuclear fuel samples inside of the hot-cell and possess autofocus capabilities.
The purchase shall cover the delivery and installation of the complete equipment, including training/demonstration to ensure trouble-free operation of the equipment.
