KLINIKUM MAGDEBURG gGmbH announces, as part of this procedure, services regarding the procurement of a pathology system (pathology software as well as complementary IT hardware, accessories, and services) in an open procedure across Europe. The goal of the project is the digital transformation of processes and workflows in pathology. This is intended to improve workflow within the institute, enhance quality, minimize time expenditure, increase safety, and enable digital communication with external partners. The most important foundation for this is the implementation of a comprehensive information system, which maps the relevant processes and workflows. This relates to electronic documentation and management of laboratory processes (material receipt, macroscopy and cutting, specimen collection, microtome workstation, lab management), effective reporting (digital dictation, speech recognition) with access to all important information at the physician's workstation, communication with clients at the secretarial workstation (case capture, report writing, billing, statistics), and archiving (image management, document archiving). The subject of the procurement is the acquisition of products for setting up a pathology (information) system, including software and hardware components as well as accessories. In addition to the delivery of these components, the tender also includes services for the implementation of the project, particularly installation, customization, and training. Furthermore, a software maintenance contract for 3 years as well as monthly service for 3 years for the hardware (PCs, scanners, and printers) is part of the procurement.
