In the age of the digital revolution, education cannot remain stagnant. Digital applications are an integral part of a modern educational system, as they offer innovative solutions that enhance the learning process, making it more effective and interactive as it is more accessible to different learning needs. Through the enhancement of the digital school with applications and material, students have access to digital learning platforms, interactive digital objects, artificial intelligence applications, and educational material tailored to the needs and learning pace of each student. Alongside the ability to use three-dimensional holograms, augmented reality (AR), and virtual labs enriches the educational experience, making it more experiential and engaging. In addition to students, educators also benefit from these tools that facilitate the teaching and assessment of students. Digital applications allow better tracking of progress, personalized support, and the creation of customized courses, overall improving the quality of teaching.
In this context, the project for enhancing the Digital School includes nine (9) key axes:
1. Development and Provision of Educational Tools based on Three-Dimensional Holograms for use in Primary and Secondary Education.
2. Development of a Comprehensive Digital Assistant using artificial intelligence, aimed at optimizing learning and advancing the learning experience of students.
3. Training of educators in new digital tools and the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
4. Creation of a platform and a comprehensive application for high-quality auditory and electronic books for students.
5. Support for Individuals with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities from the Centers for Interdisciplinary Assessment, Counseling, and Support (KEDASY) with modern digital tools.
6. Enhancement of Skills Workshops with modern digital tools and material.
7. Parental Counseling Support through multimedia content (videos, podcasts, animated videos, interactive digital material).
8. Services to extend existing tools and interoperability.
