At the Institute of Optics and Quantum Electronics (IOQ) of the FSU Jena and at the Helmholtz Institute Jena (HI Jena), experiments with intense laser pulses are a central component of research. As part of the extension building at HI Jena, a target area for novel experiments in laser plasma physics is being created. A central point here is the coupling of the two lasers already existing at IOQ and HI Jena, JETi200 and POLARIS. In order to be able to carry out the planned joint experiments, it is necessary to transport the laser beams into the new building in vacuum tubes and vacuum chambers.
LOT-0001
Beam guidance chamber for the Helmholtz Institute in Jena.
The aim of this tender is to procure a new vacuum chamber in which the laser pulses of the POLARIS laser and the JETi200 laser can be jointly modified and processed in the new building. This vacuum chamber is part of the new beam transport infrastructure to be built and is hereinafter referred to as the beam delivery chamber.
