The framework agreement will be executed by the issuance of purchase orders. Each lot will be awarded separately. The services are paid for by unit prices and lump sums. As part of the planning and sustainable development plan for the Fos industrial-port area, the work and maintenance to be carried out must take into account environmental issues in the various development operations. This policy is also reflected in the protection and management of an agro-environmental crown that has led to the establishment of a Natural Space Management Plan (PGEN), recently complemented by the avoided areas under the OAZIP 2040 initiative. At the same time, the processing and submission of authorization files under the Environmental Code for upcoming projects lead to the implementation, where applicable, of Avoid-Reduce-Compensate (ARC) measures for biodiversity. The objective of this multi-lot contract is to allow the management of sensitive environments through the creation of ecological structures, the restoration of environments, and the maintenance of environments while taking into account the ecological sensitivity of the concerned areas. Compliance with ecological sensitivities being the core of these contracts, companies must take all necessary precautions to respect and protect these areas. The work schedules will depend on the ecological calendars by area and in respect of the species present on the concerned sites. The framework agreement is concluded for a period of 48 months from its notification date. Anticipated start date: 01/09/2025. Clearing and forest maintenance works - Treatment of invasive alien species (IAS).
This Lot 4 aims at mechanical earthworks in the natural environment for ecological restoration purposes, integrating the sensitive nature of the intervention areas. The objective of this contract is to allow the management of sensitive environments through the creation of ecological structures, the restoration of environments, and the maintenance of environments while considering the ecological sensitivity of the concerned areas. The works included are notably: 1 - Mechanical opening of environments 2 - Manual opening of environments 3 - Tree branch trimming, tree cutting, and stump removal 4 - Removal of cut products 5 - Chopping and covering soil horizons for treatment of giant reed and reeds 6 - Treatment of terrestrial IAS (pampa grass, tree ragwort, bohemian olive, prickly pear, common ragweed) 7 - Treatment of water primrose sites (Ludwigia peploides and Ludwigia grandiflora). The works defined in this contract apply to both existing structures and those that will be built or incorporated into the Grand Port Maritime of Marseille.
