On behalf of Tilapalvelut, the procurement services of the City of Turku's Group administration request tenders for the service procurement of electric vehicle charging stations for the period 1.6.2024 (target) - 31.12.2027, after which the agreement will continue until further notice.
Charging points for procurement as a service. The service consists of rented equipment and its operation. The customer implements the electricity connection required for the installation of charging devices and provides the operator with a place of use, electrical pulls and the installation of poles at the charging points. The service provider delivers the charging equipment, connects the charging devices to the electricity network, and takes care of the commissioning and operation of the charging points.
The procurement is related to the Act on Equipping Buildings with Charging Points for Electric Vehicles (29.10.2020/733). In 2024, one charging station per parking space will be procured, i.e. a total of 28. Each charging station must have two charging points. The charging stations must be in use by the end of 2024. During the agreement period, additional acquisitions (options) will be acquired within the limits of the identified need and appropriations, but no more than 150 new stations implemented in the same way as a corresponding service subject to a monthly fee.
The sites are public parking areas, and some of them are restricted to the use of city employees' own vehicles during office hours. Most of the charging points will be so-called. pole installation, but in some locations the installation may be on the wall of a building. The charging points will be for public use, and city employees will also pay for charging their own cars like other users.
The procurement of charging stations for electric vehicles always complies with the requirements of the currently valid standards related to charging solutions for rechargeable vehicles, so that if the standard mentioned in the tender documents is replaced by a new corresponding standard, the requirements of the new standard will be complied with in procurements for which the procurement was initiated while the new standard was in force.
