Description:
The project aims to procure a standard medical software solution for the Bavarian Police Medical Service, including a specialist application, employee portal, and secure document transfer portal, along with training, implementation, and ongoing technical support.

The aim of the procedure is to procure a standard medical (work-related) software that is already available on the market. The contract includes not only the tested software (standard software) that can be installed and operated in the existing IT environment of the client. In addition to delivering the entire system, the contractor will provide training, implementation, technical regular operation, and support for the overall system "MedSys". The overall system "MedSys" is to consist of three (3) areas: (1) Specialist application "MedSys" (2) Employee portal "My MedSys" (3) Upload & Download portal on the Internet for applicants

Introduction of a Unified IT Procedure for the Police Medical Service in Bavaria (MedSys).
The complete solution "MedSys" includes the following areas: (1) Specialist application "MedSys" The specialist application "MedSys" with the three specialist modules medicine, occupational safety, and personnel represents the part of the solution that is located in the isolated data network of the Bavarian Police (CNP-BY) and is only available to "special users" via their standard workplace (client). A web solution using common industry standards is sought for this purpose. (2) Employee portal "My MedSys" "My MedSys" is required as a web-based component in CNP-BY that offers all employees of the Bavarian Police (approximately 47,000 employees by 2028) a personal service area. It allows access to some functionalities from the specialist application "MedSys" via the standard workplace, such as applying for rehabilitation measures or appointment management. There is also the possibility to upload and download documents within CNP-BY. (3) Upload & Download portal on the Internet for applicants This upload & download portal is intended to enable applicants to securely transfer medical documents to and from "MedSys" via the Internet. The portal will be created and operated by the client. The contractor only needs to ensure the connection. (4) Interfaces The advertised complete solution includes numerous interfaces to various procedures inside and outside the network of the Bavarian Police. (5) Additional tools The complete solution "MedSys" includes the provision of additional tools by the contractor. (6) Technical operation The contractor must take over and ensure the system-technical and application-technical operation of the complete solution "MedSys", including monitoring and central support along with a service desk. The procurement of the necessary hardware as well as the basic installation and integration into the data center and CNP-BY will be carried out as part of a server housing by the client. (7) Task fulfillment via remote access and on-site The contractor must fulfill his tasks via remote access and on-site at the client's location. Remote access is also referred to as teleservice.
