Police New Building, engineering services for site clearance.
The state of Schleswig-Holstein plans to construct a new police station at Europaallee 22 in the Garstedt district of Norderstedt. The implementation of the construction project will be carried out using BIM methodology as a pilot project of the state's construction office GMSH. However, the engineering services for site clearance do not adhere to the implementation criteria as a BIM project.
Currently, the former tax office of the city of Norderstedt is still located on the planned building site of the new building. The demolition of the building is being carried out as a preliminary construction measure as part of the overall project.

The building to be demolished is a two-story building with a basement from the 1960s, which is connected to a one-story extension.

Due to the interfaces between the demolition of the building and the construction of the foundation pit for the new building, early coordination with the planning participants for civil engineering, structural design, and building planning is necessary.

The new building is planned as block perimeter development for the adjoining property at Europaallee 24. A basement garage is planned in the new building. As a result, specific requirements exist for the building's foundation, securing the construction pit, and possibly required water management.

A detailed pollutant report exists for the building to be demolished. Additionally, an environmental impact assessment was created for a higher-level development plan procedure, which also includes the property at Europaallee 22. Currently, only a soil report for the construction of the building from 1966 is available. An updated soil report is in preparation. According to information from the explosive ordnance disposal service, this area of Norderstedt is considered uncontaminated and thus does not require further investigation. For the adjoining property at Europaallee 24 (current police station), a soil investigation for contaminated sites was conducted as part of the development plan preliminary investigation, which provides initial insights into the expected soil and pollutant conditions of the construction site. According to the existing utility plan information from the city of Norderstedt, all known utilities are located at a sufficient distance from the building to be demolished. There are no lines on the property.
