Colocation refers to the accommodation of one's own server technology in an externally operated data center. The responsibility for operation and administration remains with the University Hospital of Cologne, while infrastructure such as power, cooling, and access is provided by the supplier. The conclusion is intended in the form of a framework agreement. Individual call-offs within the framework agreement are made between the University Hospital and the respective framework contract partner based on a mutually agreed EVB-IT contract and the conditions offered by the framework contract partner regarding this framework agreement.
