The project involves a comprehensive renovation of the underground car park below the town hall square in Hamelin, focusing on concrete repair, modernizing building services, enhancing safety and functionality, and promoting sustainability and electromobility, while considering potential structural dependencies with the simultaneous renovation of the town hall square.

Stadtwerke Hameln Weserbergland GmbH intends to carry out a comprehensive general renovation of the underground car park below the town hall square in Hamelin. The aim of the project is the sustainable repair of the concrete structure, the renewal of the waterproofing of the entire structure against surface water and the modernisation of the building services in order to meet the current technical standards and building authority requirements. For this purpose, the following general planning services must be provided: - Object planning of buildings/interiors in accordance with § 34 HOAI, LPH 1 to 9 - Object planning of outdoor facilities in accordance with § 39 HOAI, LPH 1 to 9 - Specialist planning of structural engineering in accordance with § 51 HOAI, LPH 1 to 2 - Specialist planning of technical equipment § 55 HOAI, AG 1,3,4,5 LPH 1-9 , as well as special services in accordance with Appendices 10,11 and 15 HOAI.

Basic renovation of underground car park / town hall square in Hamelin - General planning.
General conditions: - Owner: Stadtwerke Hameln Weserbergland GmbH - Location: Underground car park below the town hall square, Hameln with 228 parking spaces Scope of renovation: 1. Concrete renovation: - Implementation of a comprehensive concrete renovation in accordance with the specifications of the expert report provided (Annex I). - Renewal of the waterproofing of the entire structure against surface water from the town hall square and groundwater - Renewal of carriageway 2. 3. Renewal of the building services: - Access control - Electrical installation incl. energy-saving lighting concept - Waste water (lifting system) - Safety lighting - CO warning system - Oil separator - Ventilation system - Inspection and, if necessary, renovation or replacement of the sprinkler system - Renovation of the natural inflow openings (if necessary) 4. Extended technical measures: - Installation of video surveillance and modern access control (e.g. license plate recognition) - Equipment State-of-the-art charging points for e-mobility 5. Organisation and planning: - Review and, if necessary, reorganisation of parking spaces, entry and exit lanes as well as entrances and exits for users. - Selective evidence of structural design, which is assigned in the timesheet. 6. Consideration of the renovation of the town hall square: The city of Hamelin is considering the renovation of the town hall square in parallel to the renovation of the underground car park. Since there are structural dependencies between the two projects that would influence the construction process, dependencies are to be expected here that must be taken into account in the planning. Building regulations: Of course, all building regulations must be complied with. This could entail further structural measures to be implemented in the course of the general renovation. Project objectives: The main objective of the general renovation is to extend the useful life of the underground car park and to improve safety and functionality. In addition, the measures are intended to contribute to sustainability and the promotion of electromobility. Summary: The concrete renovation, the renewal of the building services and the safeguarding of accessibility are the focus of this general renovation measure. Other measures include the installation of modern monitoring and access systems and the promotion of electromobility. The possible parallel renovation of the town hall square by the city of Hamelin and the resulting structural dependencies must be taken into account in the construction process.
