Nano-LC-MS/MS Mass Spectrometry System
LOT-0001
High Throughput LC-MS/MS Mass Spectrometry System.
The Proteomics Department of the Laboratory for Functional Genome Analysis (LAFUGA) at LMU's Gene Center intends to procure a liquid chromatography-ion-mobility tandem mass spectrometry system. The mass spectrometer must be equipped with a two-stage IMS unit that can accumulate ions and then separate them in parallel according to their mobility. This should ensure a near 100% duty cycle to identify a high number of peptide ions at high sensitivity. For the upstream nano-liquid chromatography system, flow rates between 100 nl and 1500 μl and a maximum pressure of 1000 bar are required. In addition, for reasons of efficiency, the chromatography system must be controlled by the control software of the mass spectrometer. A detailed description of the device requirements can be found in the "Performance Criteria" section.
