By implementing this investment objective, carbon emissions in the municipality of Bistrița will be reduced, and a new urban mobility corridor will be created along the route DN17 - str. Simpoziomului - str. Zăvoaie - str. Tănase Tudoran - str. Ion Pop Retegan - DJ173C (str. Mihai Viteazul) - str. Codrișor - str. Viorelelor - DJ173 - str. Ghinzii - str. Valea Ghinzii - str. Aerodromului - DN17 (Unirea), which will interconnect functional areas on the left bank of the Bistrița River with DN17 and with functional areas on the right bank of the Bistrița River, a cleaner air, sustainable urban mobility that is sensitive to the environment, a healthier and more physically active population, greater traffic safety by promoting balanced mobility, a less congested city, dynamic urban mobility, an increase in efficiency in the alternation of flows and modes of transportation, reduction of environmental effects (chemical and noise pollution).
