Description:
The contract involves building an infrastructure solution for eHealth projects, focusing on data security, redundancy, and implementation services to enhance electronic health services and reduce administrative burdens at hospitals.

The subject of this contract is to build the necessary infrastructure for subsequent eHealth projects as an integration platform, a trustworthy archive, and other follow-up projects, with an emphasis on data security and protection, as well as sufficient redundancy. Part of the subject of the public contract is also the provision of implementation services. The definition of the technical description and requirements for the deployment of technology is provided in Appendix No. 1 of the contract, Technical Specification and in the Appendix of the Public Procurement, Implementation Work. Another goal of the project is to increase the level of electronic health services at the hospital's operational level and reduce the administrative burden on the contracting authority's employees. The development of information and communication technologies in society is associated with many multiplier effects. ICT contributes to increasing the quality and efficiency of work, as it allows information to be shared more easily, creates a foundation for the development of new services in public administration, and thereby balances regional disparities across the country. The modernization of HW and SW equipment at FNUSA is a necessary prerequisite for creating a modern functioning electronic healthcare system throughout the Czech Republic, which is one of the strategic goals of the government of the Czech Republic.

The subject of the fulfillment of this public contract consists of the implementation of technical measures in the following activities:
The architecture of the required infrastructure solution for the eHealth platform must achieve the following goals:
Create a highly available environment for the operation of eHealth systems, both “compute” and “storage”, including a server virtualization platform (virtualization at the VMware level – licenses are not the subject of the public contract, the necessary licenses will be provided by the Contracting Authority)
The delivery requirements are:
1+1 server in two server rooms
1+1 disk array configured and operated as a “metro cluster”
Create a highly available environment for data archiving for eHealth operation, both “compute” and “storage”, including a server virtualization platform (virtualization at the VMware level – licenses are not the subject of the public contract, the necessary licenses will be provided by the Contracting Authority)
The delivery requirements are:
1+1 server in two server rooms
1+1 disk array configured and operated as a “metro cluster”
Expand the backup space acquired in 2023/24 within the project “Increasing Cybersecurity at the University Hospital of St. Anna in Brno” with another compatible deduplication storage, primarily within the backup strategy.
