Sets of portable Raman spectrometers shall be procured within the framework of direct commissioning and orders, including the necessary documents and a small amount of training. A set consists of a portable Raman spectrometer with an internal database and internal software, a transport and storage container, power supply, accessories, consumables, spare parts, tools, the corresponding manuals, and lists of contents.

The portable Raman spectrometer with accessories is used for the rapid detection and non-contact identification of unknown solid and liquid hazardous substances and their mixtures. The device should enable the user to make a situational assessment in a short time with minimal training effort and to derive measures based on the detection results.

The contract is to be concluded for a duration of 4 years, with an option for extension for another year. There is a current need for about 136 sets of portable Raman spectrometers. Furthermore, the execution of training for testing personnel and operating personnel is to be directly commissioned. In addition, there is to be a further future demand for about 91 sets of portable Raman spectrometers as well as possibly further training that can be called off within the framework of orders.
