Procurement of central storage solution.
General storage requirements: In the framework of the development, the components can originate from only one manufacturer for complete integration, maximum compatibility, component collaboration capability, and manufacturer-specific professional support, furthermore the presence of professionals needed for product support (DES-1241 - Specialist – Platform Engineer, PowerStore, DES-1221 - Specialist - Implementation Engineer, PowerStore Solutions), as well as for simple and secure operation in the future. For every offered device where the device differs from the sample configuration, a Hungarian manufacturer data sheet is required to be attached, from which the compliance with the requested requirement can be established without any doubt. Architecture, core technologies: • One piece of enterprise NVMe all-flash storage, which has a redundant (two) active-active controller with the following features: • NVMe technology: support for NVMe drives, NVMe enclosures, NVMe internal interconnection system, NVMe network technologies (NVMe-over-Fabric, NVMe-over-TCP, NVMe-over-FC) towards the network and served servers. • High availability, with at least 99.9999% uptime. • Non-disruptive scaling and software upgrades (including controller upgrades) (NDU non-disruptive upgrade, sw/hw). • Fully redundant architecture, constructed without SPoF (single point of failure). • The controllers must have block, file (NAS), and vVOL capability built in, which can serve simultaneously (without external supplemental hardware such as a gateway/filer). o The storage must be able to flexibly handle various types of data and the associated systems and workloads, such as structured data (e.g., databases, relational and online transaction processing systems, or data warehouse-like/analytical systems, etc.) and unstructured data (e.g., email, documents, video). • NAS services: o Support for multi-tenant NAS servicing o Antivirus integration o HA NAS server • Scale-up expansion options include adding enclosures with additional NVMe SSD drives, allowing for up to at least 90 drives per storage unit. o Dynamic RAID support, with protection against the failure of two drives (single or double parity, compliant with RAID-5 or RAID-6 levels). o Distributed spare capacity for managing potential drive failures. o Support for high-capacity NVMe SSDs, with 15.36TB capacity. o Capacity expansion capability by adding 1 NVMe drive. • NVMe SCM and SAS SSD drive support. • TLC and QLC SSD support. • Scale-out scalability, connecting storage of different models (with 8 active-active controllers) into a unified management cluster. • Capacity and performance can be expanded independently via vertical (scale-up) and horizontal (scale-out) expansion, to serve heterogeneous workloads simultaneously. • The scalability of scaled, cluster-configured systems: o 1TB DRAM-based (not flash/SSD) cache is also available. o 24000 volumes (“LUNs”) can be created. o Expandable up to 64 FC ports. o 18PB of data can be stored (“effective capacity”). • Online data mobility and load balancing/equalization within the cluster (among the controllers). o Considering current storage parameters (e.g., utilization), limitations of individual nodes (e.g., number of volumes), and state of nodes (e.g., offline, read-only, degraded, etc.). o Intelligent, automated resource optimization supported by artificial intelligence and machine learning (ML). • Flexible front-end port expandability, allowing for future new interface technologies (e.g., higher speed FC or Ethernet standards) to be applied without replacing the storage controller. • Hardware-assisted compression and encryption functions. • Default encrypted data storage, which cannot be turned off. • NVRAM or similar technology-based write cache, which is automatically encrypted. • ALUA state support, active-optimized and active-nonoptimized front-end connections. • 3-way NDMP backup support for full and incremental backups. • Expected capability for the storage to autonomously create backups directly to HDD-based backup storage (without host intervention), restore from there, and provide instant access. • Support for the following ports: o 32/16/8/4Gb Fibre Channel (FC) ports o 1/10/25/100Gb Ethernet ports, copper and/or optical based o NVMe/FC, NVMe/TCP support o 100Gb/s ports for connecting enclosures • Support for the following protocols: o Fibre Channel o iSCSI o SMB 1-3.1.1 o NFSv3-4.1, Secure NFS o FTP/SFTP o VVOL 2.0 o NVMe/FC o NVMe/TCP • Warranty, support: o The Bidder must provide on-site warranty extension for all devices. o On-site support includes the following: Provision of manufacturer software tracking, access to updates, firmwares, patches. Manufacturer software tracking for all newly released major versions. Hardware failure parts replacement o Throughout the entire extended warranty period, replacement parts, devices, and the work performed shall be borne by the Bidder, and the Client shall not incur any additional costs. o The Bidder must have professional competence and manufacturer qualifications regarding the specific product. Please include the document proving the qualification in your offer. o Partner and manufacturer NBD (5x8h, next business day) support for the device. o For the entire configuration, the Bidder must provide extended warranty/service support for at least 3 years from the commissioning date. o 3-year manufacturer 5x8 NBD support service Continuing in point II.2.14)
