Description:
Space'ibles is seeking prospective work in space foresight observatory missions, focusing on four study themes including New Space, Europe and Exploration, Sustainable Space, and Space and Artificial Intelligence.

The purpose of this consultation is to provide prospective work by Space'ibles.
As part of its missions, CNES has been leading the Space'ibles space foresight observatory since 2017, to understand the dynamics at work and anticipate changes that may occur
affect the space sector. The fourth act of Space'ibles' prospective work (period 2024-2025) includes four new study themes divided into the four legal lots
Following:
- Legal Lot 1: "After New Space"
- Legal Lot 2: "Europe and Exploration"
- Legal Lot 3: "Sustainable Space"
- Legal Lot 4: "Space and Artificial Intelligence"

LOT-0001
LOT 1: Space'ibles works "AFTER THE NEW SPACE".
The objective of this lot is a prospective reflection on the orientations and topology
of the space sector (actors, goals, interactions, modes of action; fields of activity; perspectives and
challenges ahead) globally (i.e. internationally) and at the France level, with a prospective time horizon
to be defined at the beginning of the activity. Starting from one of the main dynamics at work (if not the
New Space, this type of reflection naturally invites us to ask ourselves the question of the future of the
of the major dynamics underway and the possible next systemic ruptures in the
the space sector.

LOT-0002
LOT 2 : Space'ibles work "EUROPE AND SPACE EXPLORATION" .
The objective of this lot is to reflect on the future on space exploration activities as well as on the ambition and European positioning in this area, with a prospective time horizon to be defined at the beginning of the activity.

LOT-0003
LOT 3: Space'ibles works "SUSTAINABLE SPACE".
The objective of this activity is a forward-looking reflection on space activities from the perspective of
their sustainability in various respects (environmental footprint and consumption of
resources, security risks, budgetary cost, pressure on the space environment, societal acceptance for example) with a time horizon to be defined at the beginning of the activity; A focus will be made on this sustainability at the European level, thus considering a sustainable European space ambition with regard to European values and capabilities. All space activities will be considered regardless of their vocation (exploration, science, defence, society, economy)

LOT-0004
LOT 4 : Space'ibles works "SPACE AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE" .
The objective of this activity is a prospective reflection on the potential of intelligence
for space activities with a time horizon to be defined at the beginning of the activity. As the development of artificial intelligence is the subject of a sometimes outrageous mainstream media amplification (perspectives and fears), this reflection will take care to demystify the theme and to objectify the state of the art beforehand.
