Procurement of Network Monitoring NDR Solution The MÁV Group is initiating a public procurement procedure for the purchase of a network monitoring solution in order to reduce IT security risks and protect its data. Responding to the IT security needs that arose during integration within the MÁV Group and compliance with cybersecurity laws, the decision was made to implement an advanced network monitoring cybersecurity solution that identifies and manages network threats in real-time. The goal of the system is to provide comprehensive protection for the entire network infrastructure of the MÁV Group, in accordance with the requirements of the NIS2 directive and ISO 27001 standard. Within the NDR (Network Detection and Response) solution, we expect the introduction of a system that includes design and preparation tasks, system integration, as well as expert support and consultation. The system can operate in an isolated, internet-disconnected environment with manual update and maintenance options, thereby supporting closed IT environments characteristic of critical infrastructures. Integration can be easily implemented in the existing network infrastructure, reducing transition time and costs. The technology identifies and manages network threats in real-time. The system exclusively uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to recognize malicious activities and prevent attacks before they can cause damage. The implementation of the system includes the procurement of 30,000 endpoint licenses, the procurement of analytical target hardware and sensor target hardware (1 unit of Analytical target hardware min 70Gbps /24 months hardware support/, 1 unit of Analytical/Sensor target hardware min 20/15/8 Gbps /24 months hardware support/, 5 units of Analytical/Sensor target hardware min 15/9/8 Gbps /24 months hardware support/, 2 units of Sensor target hardware 2Gbps /24 months hardware support/), their installation, testing, preparation of related documentation and training, along with 12 months of 24/7 helpdesk operation support, monitoring analysis, and alerting.
