Current trends and developments in the field of additive manufacturing (AM) of industrial components from mechanical and plant engineering in the field of data management (Data for AM) and material development (Materials for AM) can further expand the existing competencies of the manufacturing industry in Hesse and ensure its future competitiveness. In order to unleash this potential, it is important to transfer current research results from university research efficiently and at a scalable scale to industrial application.

The aim of the current project "Transfer and Sustainability Assessment of New Concepts in Additive Manufacturing for Innovative Production - AMC2" is therefore to make new concepts developed at TU Darmstadt applicable in additive manufacturing technologies in industrial environments.

For this purpose, the large-scale equipment described in the specification will be procured in 4 specialist lots. A seamless digital and physical linking of the steps described above is sought and should be taken into account in the procurement of the devices. In this way, an efficient process sequence of material production, material processing and component processing can be ensured, which is indispensable for the sustainable transfer of innovative concepts into industrial environments.

LOT-0001
Powder atomization system.
The subject of this lot is the procurement of one or more equipment for powder atomization in accordance with the technical specification of the plant.

LOT-0002
Laser cladding system (3D EHLA system).
The subject of this lot is the procurement of a system for laser cladding (3D EHLA system) according to the technical plant description.

LOT-0003
Machining center.
The subject of this lot is the procurement of a machining centre in accordance with the technical specification of the plant.

LOT-0004
Heat treatment plant.
The subject of this lot is the procurement of a heat treatment plant in accordance with the technical specification of the plant.
