The general objective of the contract is to ensure an efficient public passenger transport service with "zero emissions" in order to reduce the number of trips using private transport (with cars) and to decrease pollution generated by motorized transport using fossil fuels. Specific objectives of the contract: Reduction of CO2 equivalent emissions from transport and improvement of the quality of public transport journeys through the purchase of two electric minibuses, one electric bus, and two multi-standard fast charging stations.

The estimated value corresponding to the contract "SUPPLY OF 1 NEW ELECTRIC BUS, 2 NEW ELECTRIC MINIBUSES AND 2 MULTI-STANDARD FAST CHARGING STATIONS FOR PUBLIC PASSENGER TRANSPORT IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CARANSEBEȘ" is 5,875,400.00 lei excluding VAT, which includes:
- 1 urban bus with electric propulsion: 2,200,000.00 lei excluding VAT
- 2 multi-standard fast charging stations: 950,400.00 lei excluding VAT
- 2 urban minibuses with electric propulsion: 2,725,000.00 lei excluding VAT
The number of days until clarification requests can be submitted before the deadline for submitting offers: 18 days. The contracting authority will respond to all clarification requests submitted on the 11th day before the deadline for submitting offers. For clarification requests received after the indicated deadline above, the contracting authority reserves the right not to provide a response.

Contract for THE SUPPLY OF 1 NEW ELECTRIC BUS, 2 NEW ELECTRIC MINIBUSES AND 2 MULTI-STANDARD FAST CHARGING STATIONS intended for public passenger transport in the Municipality of Caransebeș - under a project financed within RSO2.8 - Promoting sustainable multi-modal urban mobility, as part of the transition to a zero carbon dioxide emissions economy under the West Regional Program 2021 - 2027, according to financing contract no. 25/16.05.2024.
The products offered must meet a minimum set of technical conditions, functional conditions, equipment and peculiarities at the level of the area where they will operate, for which the mandatory requirements from this specifications document are requested. The technical conditions are listed in the technical data sheets, which represent the minimum mandatory conditions for the technical offer. For all conditions/specifications stated in the Specifications and in Annexes, the beneficiary may accept equivalent variants on the condition that they offer similar or superior performance and characteristics to those required. Bidders are obliged, in case of any ambiguities regarding any requirements, to request clarifications. Otherwise, it is considered that all technical conditions stipulated in the Specifications have been accepted. The beneficiary reserves the right to reject any offer as non-compliant, in case the bidder presents different technical solutions, performances and functionalities from those stipulated in the Specifications or in case some equipment, systems or software applications are missing.
