The procurement seeks to acquire educational equipment for training on lasers and their applications, covering areas such as metrology, sensing, and telecommunications, divided into four lots focusing on various laser setups.

This procurement involves the purchase of educational equipment suitable for conducting training on various types of lasers and laser applications in areas such as metrology, sensing, and telecommunications. The assignment is divided into the following lots: Lot 1 "LASERS WITH STANDING WAVE CAVITIES AND RING CAVITIES" Explanation: For this lot we are looking for the following setups: 1.1 Nd:YAG laser with standing wave cavity (2 pieces) 1.2 HeNe laser with standing wave cavity (2 pieces) 1.3 Fabry Perot resonator to extend the HeNe laser (1 piece) 1.4 Optical fiber-based laser with ring cavity (2 pieces) Lot 2 "LASER-BASED METROLOGY AND HOLOGRAPHY" Explanation: For this lot we are looking for the following setups: 2.1 Interferometry setup (2 pieces) 2.2 Setup for distance measurements (2 pieces) 2.3 Holography setup (1 piece) Lot 3 "GUIDING OF LASER LIGHT, DATA TRANSMISSION AND OTDR IN OPTICAL FIBERS" Explanation: For this lot we are looking for the following setups: 3.1 Setup around light guidance in optical fibers (2 pieces) 3.2 Setup around data transmission in optical fibers (1 piece) 3.3 Setup around Optical Time Domain Reflectometry (OTDR) in optical fibers (1 piece) Lot 4 "BRAGG GRATINGS AND WAVELENGTH MULTIPLEXING IN OPTICAL FIBERS" Explanation: For this lot we are looking for the following setups: 4.1 Setup around laser action with a Bragg-grating-based cavity (2 pieces) 4.2 Setup around sensing with a Bragg grating (1 piece) 4.3 Setup around wavelength multiplexing and telecommunications in optical fibers (2 pieces) Delivery location: Vrije Universiteit Brussel – Photonics Campus Gooik Vollezelestraat 46 - 48 1755 Gooik
