This contract sets the technical and commercial conditions for the geotechnical study campaign and for the characterization study of inert waste to be carried out as part of the modernization of the freight sector (sorting) at Bettembourg station: 1) The geotechnical study campaign must provide the characteristic values of the soils, necessary for the studies for the development of new infrastructures to be carried out, as well as the nature and characteristics of the foundation soils. This contract includes the following operations: establishing status reports of the lands where works are planned; - in situ tests: - reconnaissance drilling and sampling in the soils or structures; - pressuremeter tests; - phicometric tests; - measurement of piezometric levels; - diagraphies (gamma radiography: cavity detection); - inclinometric measurements; - permeability tests; - dynamic penetration tests; - DN 600 plate tests; - laboratory tests: - triaxial tests; - grain size tests; - compressibility tests (odometric); - Atterberg limit; - determination of characteristic bulk densities; - determination of water content; - Proctor tests; - tests to determine the sensitivity to soil swelling; 2) Characterization study of inert waste: the characterization study of the generated inert waste from the site includes the areas of expertise D3 (expertise on internal waste management measures); E4 (impact studies in the field of water protection and management) and E5 (impact studies in the field of soil, subsoil and/or groundwater protection). The work includes: - coring work with soil samples collection; - physicochemical analyses and leachate analyses by an accredited laboratory of the collected soil samples; 3) drafting of study reports. Note: only an organization having accreditation in the areas of expertise D3, E4 and E5 issued by the Ministry of Environment under the provisions of the law of 21.4.1993 relating to the accreditation of private or public physical or legal persons, other than the state, for the accomplishment of technical study and verification tasks in the field of the environment can be entrusted with the mission of this framework contract.
