Lot 4: Study on the implementation of the Data Act in Germany - New rules for access, transfer and use of data
Along with the Data Governance Act, the Data Act is one of the central pillars of the European Commission's European Data Strategy to promote the European data economy. Enforcement of the Data Act will entail continuous monitoring of a large number of complex rules and a large number of relevant users, as well as the handling of a large number of individual complaints. It is therefore crucial to draw up a comprehensive inventory of the relevant actors and the main challenges before the Data Act comes into force in September 2025.
