The University Hospital Aachen AöR intends to award a solution for digital pathology.
LOT-0001
KHZG FV4 Digital Pathology.
The object of the contract is the creation of a system for the high-throughput digitization of histological slides (OTT) and their provision by integrating them into an existing diagnostic system (nexus/pathology). The contractor (contractor) must supply the hardware and software, ensure that the system is ready for operation at the customer's site and take over the system service. At the Institute of Pathology of the UKA, a laboratory information system from the company Nexus is installed, which is also intended to be the higher-level user interface through which digital slides are to be managed and opened. In consultation with the Client, the Contractor is responsible for the necessary coordination with Nexus for integration into the reporting system and for the establishment of complete operational readiness. It must be possible to support at least 6 scanners. Details can be found in the criteria catalogue in the Technical Configuration tab. The storage concept of pathology is to initially store digitized sections for 1 month, then move selected images to a long-term archive and delete the remaining images (the intended storage capacity of the fast memory is 30 TB). A virtual IT (server) environment based on hardware components of the client is to be offered. Details can be found in Appendices 1.1 and 1.2.
