Tenderlake AI Search.
Finding the right CPV codes for your tender search is important; but it can be challenging. With a new feature, Tenderlake now makes it easy.
CPV Codes, or Common Procurement Vocabulary (for Public Procurement in the EU), is an effective system for classifying procurement notices.
Select the right categories for your search and you usually get good results. However, it can be a daunting task to select the right categories, especially if the product or service your organisation provides is not directly defined in any CPV Category.
If you, for example, offer Cyber Security services, you will not find a matching CPV Category.
If you supply “Printing Services”, you might expect that subscribing to the CPV Category “79810000 Printing services” would be sufficient. However, it turns out that only 60% of notices regarding Printing Services are classified as such.
To make it easier to find the best CPV Codes, we have added a new feature that shows the distribution of CPV Codes in your search results.
When you have executed a search for notices, you will now see a new button next to the CPV Categories label. (Marked in picture).
Click on this button to see the distribution of the top 100 CPV Codes in notices found by your search along with the percentage of notices in the current search that is classified using each CPV Code. (Marked in picture).
