The district government of Düsseldorf intends to award a contract for the procurement of 2 vehicles for the transport of prisoners in separate cabins - cabin prisoner transport vehicles (KGTW)- with five prisoner transport places for the Central Foreigners' Registration Office Essen.

The order includes the basic vehicle and the special conversion. The prisoners are to be accommodated in separate cabins, some of which are to be accommodated individually (single cabins) and collectively (three-person cabins). The passenger compartment must be separated from the driver's compartment by a lattice door.

Delivery is ready for registration, i.e. with all the vehicle documents required for registration in Germany as well as the technical information and maintenance instructions necessary for safe operation. The acceptance must take place by 30.11.2024 at the latest.

After successful acceptance, the vehicles will be picked up by the Central Foreigners' Registration Office in Essen.
