The road section will be the new cross connection between National road 555 and the existing county road 209, and it will be a part of the local road system in the Straume area.

The road will go through an area that mainly consists of previously virgin terrain, but close to an existing high voltage line 300 / 420 kV.

A cycle path with a pavement is also planned for the entire section.

The contract also includes footbridges over the new section, where parts of these works are included as option works.

Some main quantities in the project:

Road length approx. 1 300 m;

Blasting approx. 110 000 m3;

Water and sewage ditches approx. 1 200 m;

Footbridges each approx. 75 m long;
