The main purpose of the assignment is to assess the extent to which the Nile Basin Research Program, phase I, has achieved its objectives and to provide the MFA with findings and conclusions and to make its recommendations to MFA regarding potential future funding of a phase II of the program. Please refer to Terms of Reference (ToR) for further information.

The procurement will be carried out as an open competitive tender in accordance with Part II of the regulations of 7 April 2006 No 402 relating to public procurements. The estimated value of the assignment is less than NOK 1 000 000, and Norad is therefore not obliged to publish the competition in TED. We have nevertheless chosen to publish the competition in TED, to reach as many candidates as possible.
