The heat supply of the new building is provided by the existing systems. For this purpose, a new heating circuit outlet is installed on the existing distributor and routed via the existing crawler channel to the outer wall. From there, the heating pipes are laid approx. 10 m through the ground and led into a new crawl space to be built below the new building. In the heating distribution room (pump room), a new outlet will be created for the new operating theatre, which will be implemented via two heat exchangers with 140kW each for system separation and partial redundancy. Feeder pumps are also installed in the pump room. The domestic hot water supply is provided by new pipes, which are routed from the existing drinking water centre via the crawl channel to the technical centre of the new building. Static heating surfaces with pre-adjustable thermostatic valves and thermostatic heads are provided for heating the rooms.
