The tender concerns the provision of laundry and linen services to citizens living at home and residents at nursing homes in Herlev Municipality.
The tender is conducted in accordance with Title III of the Public Procurement Act on procurement of social and other specific services above the threshold, cf. the Public Procurement Act, Executive Order no. 10 of 6 January 2023. The invitation to tender shall be published in such a way that any person may submit a tender.
The tender concerns the purchase of laundry and linen services for citizens living at home and citizens at nursing homes in Herlev Municipality, for all units and institutions of the contracting entity as well as citizens searched in their own homes, unless otherwise stated in clause 4.1 of the contract - Scope of the contract. Herlev Municipality currently has three nursing homes, and expects to have between two and four active care centers throughout the agreement period.
The task offered consists of four services that include:
1) Laundry for citizens living at home (free choice scheme, cf. section 4.1.1)
2) Washing and rental of linen (linen service) for citizens living at home
3) Private laundry for residents residing at the municipality's care centers
4) Washing and rental of linen (linen service) for residents residing at the municipality's care centers
The tenderer's task is to handle the task of complete handling, including:
- Collection of unclean clothes and/or linen
- Sorting, washing and drying and/or linen
- Packing and delivery of clean clothes and/or linen

The estimated total value of the framework agreement over 4 years is DKK 11,000,000 million.
The maximum total value of the framework agreement, including possibly a 2-year extension, is mio.kr 22,000,000, as the number of senior citizens in the municipality is expected to increase in the coming years, and that an additional care center may be built during the contract period.
