Description:
UZ Leuven is seeking to purchase an advanced intraoperative imaging and navigation system for surgical procedures on the skull and spine, requiring high-resolution imaging and real-time capabilities to assist various types of surgeons.

The UZ Leuven wishes to proceed with the purchase of an advanced intraoperative imaging system and a navigation system (image guided surgery system) through this assignment. The new equipment will be used in surgical procedures on the skull and spine by neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, trauma surgeons, and maxillofacial surgeons.
The system must be capable of providing high-resolution imaging for both spinal and cranial surgeries. The system must allow real-time imaging to support surgeons during complex procedures. Applications include surgery for spinal deformities, degenerative and traumatic spinal surgery, skull base surgery, deep brain stimulation (DBS), stereotactic biopsy, etc.
Looking towards the future, the compatibility/availability of a robotic system for spinal applications, DBS, stereotactic biopsy, etc. will also be evaluated. However, this robotic system does not form part of this purchase. Please provide maximum information: with which navigation systems is the robot compatible, financial conditions, technical specs, etc.).
