Framework contract for the provision of a qualified project manager for the development of the European joint project E-ASAP to carry out aerological vertical soundings at sea with a focus on the North Atlantic. Within the 31 European weather services organized in the EUMETNET EIG network, the German Weather Service has assumed responsibility for E-ASAP (EUMETNET Automated Shipboard Aerological Program) for the period from 2019 to 2023. Of a total of 18 aerological ship stations, ten are operated directly by the DWD. The entire coordination of all 18 ship stations is carried out by the project manager, who acts in the name and with the active support of the DWD.
