Description:
Region Midtjylland is conducting a market dialogue to gather insights for a forthcoming procurement of a dose monitoring system for patient dosimetry across various imaging specialties, aiming to align with upcoming regulatory requirements and to engage potential bidders for solution demonstrations and requirement discussions.

Region Midtjylland expects to conduct a tender for a dose monitoring system for the execution of patient dosimetry within the specialties of conventional X-ray, mammography, interventional studies, CT, fluoroscopy, DEXA, as well as hybrid scanners within nuclear medicine, so that the region can comply with the regulation no. 1387 of November 18, 2025 regarding patient dosimetry and diagnostic reference levels, which comes into effect on January 1, 2026.

The region wishes, in this context, to conduct a market dialogue to gain insight into the market so that a forthcoming tender best reflects the market's capabilities in relation to the region's needs, simultaneously identifying any risks so they can be mitigated. The result of the market dialogue shall, among other things, be used to assess what is common in the market, ensuring that the region has the best possible basis for planning the tender and to prepare the tender material accordingly. Initially, the region wishes to invite potential bidders to a dialogue meeting with the region. The region expects that the dialogue meetings will be used, on the one hand, for participants to demonstrate how their solutions support a number of cases, and on the other hand, to discuss a number of requirements, including safety requirements, that the region intends to impose on the supplier. The region reserves the right to continue the market dialogue with participants after the dialogue meetings, including asking follow-up questions and possibly sending parts of the tender material for consultation with the participants. The dialogue meetings are expected to take place in week 5 in 2026 at the region's department for Procurement and Medical Technology (Aarhus). Meetings will be held individually with each company and are anticipated to last a maximum of 2 hours. Meetings will be conducted in Danish or English as per the company’s preference. In case of high interest, the region reserves the right to invite only a limited number of companies. In such a case, emphasis will be placed on achieving a diversity in the types of products/services that the selected companies can offer. Additionally, consideration will be given to the prevalence of the product/service among companies. Companies wishing to participate in the market dialogue are requested to send an email to thomas.krogh.larsen@stab.rm.dk and Laura.Brinch.Norregaard@stab.rm.dk by January 12, 2026, at 12:00 with information about their product and/or service. Once a participant has registered, the region will send the participant the material they need for the dialogue meetings, including the cases and requirements, as soon as possible. However, if registration occurs after December 19 at 12:00, the region reserves the right to send the participant the material only in week 2 of 2026. Region Midtjylland encourages potential bidders to participate in the market dialogue.
