Rijkswaterstaat is facing a substantial replacement task in the coming decades. Due to aging and more intensive use, the end of the technical life of a large number of bridges, tunnels, overpasses and locks comes into view.Project Tunnel Renovations South Holland (PTZ) is part of the program Replacement and Renovation (VenR). The main objective of the project is to ensure that, by carrying out a renovation, the tunnels remain safe and available.

The assignment provides the contracting of one Contractor for all the necessary engineering services for PTZ. The Contractor is used to carry out the contract preparation (including tendering and (field) investigations), the design assessments, and the support of the execution guidance by RWS (incl. delivery and transfer). A number of remaining planning studies are also included in the scope.
