The aim is to create a flexible Next Generation Sequencing Platform. The technology platform to be acquired is intended to maintain the previously available scope of application in the area of Next Generation Sequencing (eg paired-end sequencing) and, in addition, to enable an extended range of methods including single-cell sequencing applications. It should be as small as possible time and cost incurred per sequencing or per sample.
