The Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs calls for tenders for an assignment to map the content and scope of actual statements of hateful or discriminatory nature against Muslims by using big data analyses. The assignment is a follow-up of measure 17 of the Norwegian Government's action plan against racism and discrimination on grounds of ethnicity and religion (2020-2023).

The purpose of the mapping is to gain an overview of the scope of hateful or discriminatory statements against Muslims published on Norwegian language digital media. The mapping must answer the following questions:

• What do we know about the hatred of Muslims in public?

• What types of hateful statements against Muslims are made public in Norway?

• How often do these hateful statements appears?

• Who are presenting these statements?

• What are the possibilities of big data analyses and machine learning for mapping and categorising the current scope now and in the future?
