The project concerns the exchange of 14 points in Korsør and Nyborg. The current switches are to be exchanged for TSI switches (TSI-60E2-R500-1:14). The execution of the works is divided into the following sections: Korsør East, Korsør West and Nyborg.
At Korsør East and Korsør West, 6 points will be exchanged on each section, i.e. 12 points in total, while in Nyborg 2 points will be exchanged.
In connection with the exchange of a total of 14 points on the railway line concerned, the extent of the sections referred to in point II.1.4 shall be as follows:
- Korsør East: Km. 107,589 – 107,991.
- Korsør West: Km. 109,006 – 109,391.
- Nyborg: Km. 130,144 – 130,270.
All switches must be exchanged from wooden to concrete sleepers, while rails remain of the UIC60 type. During the exchange of all switches, all track boxes must also be replaced.
In addition to the works relating to the exchange of switches and the replacement of track boxes, the following works shall also be carried out:
- Sporarbejder.
- Earth and ballastarbejder.
- Afvandingsarbejder.
- Work related to guideways and cable conversion.
- Driving directions, including adjustment of overhead contact lines.
- Work in connection with obtaining government permits.
In addition to the above, various works may also be carried out as "modification services". The modification benefits include:
- Fixing point move
- Krabbemåling
- TV inspection
- Installation and rigging of bilge pump
- Cold direction of switch tongues
- Construction of cable pipe underpasses in connection with new track box
- Removal of support objects, cable wells, etc., including excavation, pick-up, loading, transport, etc.
- Delivery, laying, bearing and removal of running plates as well as additional bearing of running plates
- Delivery, installation and removal of click pipes on existing cables, incl. excavation work
- Removal of K0 soil
- Construction of raw soil planum
- Kabelsøgning
The modification services also include man-hours and equipment rent.
In addition, the winning bidder must carry out residual work, which includes laying cables, fine-grinding the individual track, cleaning up materials, etc. after exchanging the switch in question and other tasks that do not prevent the track from being opened, but possibly an opening of the track in question with a speed reduction.
The document "BaneByg: Descriptions of works and deliveries as well as tender and settlement basis" also concerns the execution of the work, railway standards, rules, requirements for staff in connection with the project and the like.
In the performance of the services covered by the contract, there will be simultaneous contracts and interface projects that may affect the conditions in connection with this contract, including how the contracts are to be coordinated. The simultaneous contracts are as follows:
- Track renewal and speed upgrade project Østfyn.
- Track renewal project Slagelse – Korsør.
- Sund & Bælts vedligeholdelsesarbejder.
In connection with the project, the contracting entity will deliver part of the materials as client deliveries. As regards the client deliveries, the winning tenderer shall be subject to the following obligations, inter alia:
- Reception control of client deliveries.
- Storage of client deliveries.
- Return/disposal of remaining client deliveries.
The contracting entity will supply the following materials as client deliveries listed in general categories:
- Skinner
-Swells
- Befæstelsesdele til sveller
- Track switch
- Insulating adhesive shock, prefabricated
- Isolerklæbestød, in situ
- Svejsematerialer
The value of the client deliveries amounts to approx. DKK 14,000,000.
In addition, please refer to Appendix 01.3.1, Client Delivery List, for further information on the client deliveries. The Contracting Entity does not supply materials other than those listed in Appendix 01.3.1, Client Delivery List.
Immediately after the conclusion of the contract, the winning tenderer must draw up a master plan containing the main activities of the contract. The main timetable shall reflect the time and activity plan submitted by the tenderer with its tender, cf. the tender specifications, and which is based on the established framework for total and night closures. The main timetable shall also include activities relating to the mobilisation and establishment of a construction site/storage area.
