The contract comprises the project planning of outdoor facilities according to Part 3 Section 2 HOAI for the extension of the Kandel primary school, new cafeteria and all-day rooms.
A phased commissioning of services from the LPH 5-9 is planned.
For the all-day operation of the Ludwig Riedinger Kandel primary school, a two-storey new building with a cafeteria and all-day rooms is to be built.
The selected structure along the northern property line creates the hitherto missing completion of the courtyard area in terms of urban planning and thus forms a room edge to Marktstraße.
In the eastern area, the passage from Marktstraße to Kirchgasse is still available for public residential traffic. The kitchen is also delivered there, but is completely separated from the schoolyard by a fence.
The independent extension will be accessed via an access from the schoolyard.
The new construction of a canteen building on parts of the current area of the schoolyard necessitates the redesign of the schoolyard and the adjacent parking lot. The preliminary draft is based on the idea of preserving or revising existing, well-accepted and used areas and expanding, modernizing them and thereby making them more attractive through additional planning. The range of games and exercise activities should also be usable as a public playground outside school hours.
The new schoolyard is divided into the following areas:
Playing at the edge of the forest Small garden Climbing Park Festplatz Erlebnisgarten The areas are connected by a continuous surface area into which the existing soccer field is integrated and which function as movement areas for free play, ball games and roles.
The free schoolyard areas in the center are also driving areas for the fire brigade or service. The large gate at the new car park ensures good accessibility. A sufficiently dimensioned garbage housing that is easy to access will be integrated into the newly designed car park. The parking spaces measure 2.50 m x 5.00 m, the roadway is 6.00 m wide.
A. Project objectives Object planning Open spaces:
Implementation of the existing design plan while continuously optimizing the functionality and sustainability of the building.
For the primary school grounds, a concept is to be developed that allows a wide range of activities on the available space. The entire outdoor area is to be designed barrier-free.
For example, project goals sustainability, cost-effectiveness in creation and maintenance:
A sustainable concept is striven for. In this sense, the following points should be considered in particular:
- economic solution proposals related to the creation of the measure and for subsequent maintenance (operation and maintenance)
- lowest possible sealing
- Barrier-free access
- selection of materials according to the cradle to cradle principle
- selection of materials according to CO2-saving criteria
- selection of plants with low maintenance
- maintenance-friendly surfaces
