Delivery and installation of a slotted casting system
General
ZSW is planning to set up a research pilot line for perovskite-based photovoltaics. The aim is to evaluate and develop scalable manufacturing technologies and processes for manufacturing. The research pilot line is intended to bridge the gap between laboratory research and industrial application of the next generation of thin-film solar cells based on novel perovskite materials. The functional layers of a perovskite solar cell are very thin and have a layer thickness of only a few nanometers to a few hundred nanometers.
LdG1: Schlitzgießanlage S2S
Slotted casting system with high-precision slotted dies for a reproducible and laterally uniform layer thickness and the possibility of precisely heating rigid substrates with an edge length of at least 200 mm to a defined temperature during and after the coating process. In addition, an air sword with a defined and homogeneous nitrogen flow is required for the rapid and controlled expulsion of the solvent from the slotted wet film. The system includes the embedding of the coating unit in a glovebox with an inert gas atmosphere The system is to be integrated into a glovebox with an inert gas atmosphere.
