The Agency for Urban Environment
The Agency for Urban Environment has a broad spectrum of assignments and competence, including within nature management, city development, parks, roads, cycles, mobility, parking, sanitation, and management of landfills.
The Agency for Urban Environment negotiates and implements development contracts, and constructs public infrastructure such as roads, urban areas, pavements, playgrounds and squares. The procurement:
The procurement is for pest control services for rats and mice in Bergen Municipality (mainly) and Bjørnafjorden Municipality.
The procurement consists of the hire and operation of traps. The traps are to be localised both above and below ground level. Traps located in tunnels without internet access need a communication system.
New traps are to be assembled and existing traps are to be moved if required. Traps can also be moved due to work in the area. Reporting results. Work for Bergen Vann KF can require contact with sewage water.
The current traps
Bergen Vann KF (Bergen Water)
— 70 traps, mainly in sewage manholes in the centre of Bergen;
— 15 traps at sites (including a communication system with 3 traps in a tunnel at Flesland Treatment Plant).
The Agency for Urban Environment
— 15 traps in 11 outside areas.
The number of traps and locations can be changed over time.

The manholes vary in dimension and have an acidic environment.
HSE.
Tenderers must always comply with Bergen Vann's HSE procedures. All those who work with sewage water must be vaccinated against: Tetanus, Polio, and Hepatitis A (Havrix). Any protection equipment must be covered by the tenderer.
Experiments
If a tenderer would like to carry out their own relevant experiments, at their own expense, an agreement can be made with the contracting authority's contact person in advance for access to locations.
