Oslo Municipality c/o Kultur- og idrettsbygg Oslo KF invites tenderers to an open tender contest for the procurement of a 'service contract for chair lifts, cabin lift, and ski lift for Holmenkollen national arena.
The lift systems covered by the procurement are a cabin lift and chair lift connected to Holmenkollenbakken, a chair lift connected to Midtstubakken, as well as a ski lift for the recruitment arena for ski jumping in Midtstulia.
The aim of the procurement is to ensure access to competent service personnel, as well as the required spare parts for all the lifts. Furthermore, the contract will ensure access to technical personnel who will be on stand-by in the arena for the annual world cup events in Holmenkollen. The scope of this is detailed in the attached requirements specification.

The cabin lift in Holmenkollenbakken is in daily use by tourists in Holmenkollen, as well as daily operation, and training and events in the ski jump arena. The lift transports tourists, operational personnel, and athletes from the lift lobby at ground level up to the top of the inrun.
There are two chair lifts in the national arena. The chair lift in Holmenkollenbakken is used for ski jump activities during the winter. The chair lift in Midtstubakken is used year round, as this hill is suitable for ski jumping in both the summer and winter.
The ski lift in Midtstulia is used year round for ski jumping activities in the recruitment hills.
