Regionalverkehr Bern Solothurn RBS is planning the construction of a maintenance and storage facility (depot) in Bätterkinden. This new depot will replace the facilities in Solothurn and Worblaufen in the future. The existing Bätterkinden train station is located to the east of the planned depot facility. This is also to be converted in the course of the construction of the depot. Furthermore, the outdoor facilities around the depot z. B. rebuilt as a parking and disposition system.
