Energieversorgung Schwerin GmbH und Co. Generation KG is a 100% subsidiary of Stadtwerke Schwerin GmbH and has been operating a gas and steam turbine thermal power station at each of the Schwerin Süd and Schwerin Lankow locations since 1994.

The cogeneration plants put into operation in 1994 are to be modernized within the framework of the currently valid KWKG (in the version of 2017) - due to the advanced age of system parts and the energy requirements.

The modernization measures for the CHP plant in Schwerin South essentially include the following measures:

- the replacement of the two existing gas turbines with more powerful ones (21-24 MWel),

- the resulting adaptation of the waste heat boiler,

- the replacement of the existing steam turbine,

- the renewal of water treatment,

- the renewal of the power plant control and electrical engineering,

- Modernization of further peripheral plant parts.

At the HKW Schwerin Süd site, a modernization of the existing power plants is being carried out. The overall project is divided into different lots. The task of lot BoP is to connect the inventory with the new plant components and partially renew it.

These are essentially the following systems:

— natural gas,

— side cooling water,

— district heating water,

- feed water,

— condensate,

— steam systems (fresh, tapping, extraction and auxiliary steam),

- Drinking water,

- Sewage,

— Deionate.

The scope of services mainly includes the following points:

— supply and installation of pipelines, valves and pumps

— connection to steam and gas turbine,

— installation and installation of the high-pressure heating condenser,

— delivery/assembly of pipe supports,

— delivery/assembly of bracket steel construction as well as stage structures required,

— delivery/installation of insulation and trace heating,

— connection to the existing pipelines,

— involving and hiring a technical expert according to the Pressure Equipment Directive for test-subject systems,

— delivery and installation of temporary cleaning measures,

— carrying out cleaning measures, blowing out the fresh steam line,

— coordination and execution of print samples (presence of AG/planner required),

— Obligation to cooperate in commissioning (IBS) and trial operation,

— obligation to cooperate in the coordination of interfaces to the other lots,

— Creation of documentation according to VGB-S 831 (handover via ShareFile, access is provided by the AG).
