Currently, for the provision of user hardware, the Contracting Authority has a framework agreement with one (1) supplier. For the supply of user hardware, the contracting authority wishes one (1) Tenderer per lot and which, on the basis of a framework agreement, provides for the delivery of the requested user hardware in the relevant lot. The brands and types offered by Tenderer on the basis of the minimum configurations in Section 3.2 shall be included in a core range for the Contracting Authority. By contracting the Tenderers, the Contracting Authority intends to achieve the following overall objectives:
• Specialized suppliers;
• Uniformity within user hardware;
• User friendly and easy ordering process;
• Effective spending of purchasing budgets for user hardware.
Plot 1 User Hardware Windows• Desktops: 300 pieces:
o Type 1:10 pieces;
o Type 2:50 pieces;
o Type 3:240 pieces.
• Laptops: 2,200 pieces:
o Type 1:20 pieces;
o Type 2:50 pieces;
o Type 3:1,080 pieces.
o Type 4:1,050 pieces;
• Displays: 1,500 pieces:
o Type 1:100 pieces;
o Type 2:300 pieces;
o Type 3:1,100 pieces.

Lot 3 User Hardware Learners (Apprentice Devices)• Chromebooks: 3,900 pieces:
o Type 1:2,750 pieces;
o Type 2:500 pieces;
o Type 3:650 pieces.
